Farm Activity in Kherson Oblast Completed Project “Rural Development on the Principles of Credit Co-operation” The “Hromada” Credit Union (Kherson, Ukraine) in partnership with the Government of Alberta, provided a number of different Canadian specialists. This partnership sought to further develop the credit union’s scope of services leading to greater involvement in the support mechanisms that promote rural development. Together they promoted 4H children’s clubs; development of green tourism; set up of an agricultural extension service; and establishing a marketing cooperative.
